Riot Gaming’s goal is to create a unique common ground for female competitive and casual gamers which meets iiyama’s passion for delivering the best #monitors4gamers regardless of how PRO one is.
Riot gaming consists of twenty-two female pro-gamers from Europe and North America, which are competing in teams in various eSports competitions worldwide, such as Counter Strike Global Offensive, Gears of War, Halo and Call of Duty.
As Kimberley Fogg (KimmieRiot), Director of Riot Gaming & Captain of Riot EU says: “Collaborating with iiyama was a no-brainer for us at Riot, with their top of the line gaming monitors in the hands of our professional female teams, we're ready to compete and stay on top of our competition. iiyama share our passion of high quality and community based content as well as standing by our motto of ‘Girls can game too’. iiyama are a huge company and it’s our biggest step yet within Riot Gaming and we can’t wait to showcase what we can do together”
And Steve Kilroy, Sales Manager UK & Ireland adds: “iiyama are proud to be backing such a dynamic group of Professional Players, sharing a philosophy of community engagement and dedication to the E-Sports. For iiyama having access to bright minds helps guide and shape the future products that iiyama bring, having access to firsthand knowledge on what aspects of technology enhance the user experience. We are really excited to walk this journey with Riot Gaming and we see a great future for their teams, and we are happy to be able to add fuel to their already successful careers as E-Sports Professionals.”
Riot Gaming will be present on iiyama’s stand at the UK’s biggest gaming festival Insomnia (25-28th of August in Birmingham). From 2 to 3 September, they will be competing in the CS:GO tournament at the 2017 Girl Gamer Festival in Macau, China.
